There are a lot of beautiful women all around the world. But, for a very long time, society considered white women as the ideal image of beauty. However, in the last few years the face of beauty has changed. Ethnic women are being more celebrated than ever.

I personally think beauty has a lot of faces and believe all women should embrace their own ethnicity. In celebration to all the different beautiful ethnicities in the world I started a monthly Global Beauty– A woman who is inspiring to women everywhere by doing her part in helping the world become a better place. That is the definition of a true Global Beauty.

Aishwarya Rai is an Indian Bollywood actress and former Miss World. Often cited by the media as the most beautiful woman in the world. Apart from acting in highly successful Bollywood films Aishwarya is the brand ambassador for The Eye Bank Association of India’s nationwide campaign to promote eye donation in India. She is also the brand ambassador for Pulse Polio. A campaign established by the Indian Government to eradicate the disease Polio in India.

In 2008 she along with her family laid the foundation of a special school for underprivileged girls in the Daulatpur village in India.

Not only is she beautiful, she has used her status to elevate the standard of life of those in need. Thus, making her a perfect example of a Global Beauty.
